Galaktozid 2-alfa-L-fukoziltransferaza 2 je enzim koji je kod ljudi kodiran genom FUT2.[4][5] On utiče na sekretorni status ABO antigena.[6]

Približno 20% belaca su nesekretori zbog mutacija G428A i C571T u FUT2 i stoga imaju snažnu, iako ne apsolutnu zaštitu od norovirusa GII.4.
