Capitella giardi[4][5][6] är en ringmaskart som först beskrevs av Mesnil 1897. Capitella giardi ingår i släktet Capitella och familjen Capitellidae.[7][8][9] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[9] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[7]
