The Emperor Jones (sh. Car Jones) je američki crno-bijeli film snimljen 1933. u režiji Dudleya Murphyja. Predstavlja adaptaciju istoimene drame Eugenea O'Neilla. Naslovni protagonist, čiji lik tumači Paul Robeson, je američki crnac i osuđenik za ubistvo, koji bježi i zatvora i utočište pronalazi na malom karipskom otoku gdje se stanovnicima nametne kao novi vladar. Radnja prikazuje kako njegova tiranska vladavina dovede do pobune i Jonesovog bijega u džunglu. Zbog korištenja uvredljive riječi "nigger" i scena koje sugeriraju "primitivnost" crnaca, suvremeni kritičari The Emperor Jones smatraju primjerom rasističkih stereotipa i predrasuda. S druge strane je Robeson, koji je isti lik tumačio u kazalištu, zahvaljujući ovom filmu postao jedna od najvećih afroameričkih zvijezda svog doba, a njegov glumački nastup se smatra jednim od najimpresivnijih u tadašnjem Hollywoodu.
