Gymnosophistis is een geslacht van vlinders uit de familie wespvlinders (Sesiidae), onderfamilie Sesiinae.

Gymnosophistis is voor het eerst wetenschappelijk beschreven door Meyrick in 1934. De typesoort is Gymnosophistis thyrsodoxa.[1]
