R. J. 러시두니
라우서스 존 러시두니(Rousas John Rushdoony, 1916년 4월 25일–2001년 2월 8일)는 미국의 칼빈주의 철학자, 역사가, 신학자이며 지배주의 신학의 창시자이며, 기독교 재건운동의 아버지로 알려진 인물이다.[1] 현대 기독교 홈 스쿨 운동에 영감을 주었다.[2][3] 그의 추종자나 비판들 모두가 그의 사상이 복음주의 기독교 우파 사상에 영향을 주었다고 말한다.
철학적 그리고 신학적 공헌
마이클 J. 맥비카(Michael J.McVicar)는 러시두니는 인간은 하나님께 매인 종교적인 창조물로 본다. 하나님 중심의 신정 정치에 근거하여 하나님의 통치를 강조한다고 한다.
비판
사형제를 찬성한 그는 민주주의와 관용을 싫어하고 홀로코스트와 인종차별로 고소를 당했다. 프랑크 쉐퍼에 따르면 그는 타인종과 결혼하는 것은 불법이라고 믿었다.
