Brian John Peter Ferneyhough (/ˈfɜːrnihoʊ/;[1][2] lahir 16 Januari 1943) adalah seorang komponis Inggris, yang bermukim di California sejak 1987. Ferneyhough biasanya dianggap sebagai figur utama gerakan New Complexity.[3][4] Ferneyhough mengajar komposisi di Hochschule für Musik Freiburg dan University of California, San Diego. Ia juga mengajar di Universitas Stanford dan menjadi dosen tetap pada kursus-kursus musim panas di Darmstädter Ferienkurse.
