Born to Beat adalah debut EP boyband Korea Selatan, BtoB,[1] yang dirilis oleh Cube Entertainment pada 3 April 2012. Judul lagu dari album ini ditulis dan disusun oleh Seo Jewoo dan Seo Yongbae yang hip hop lagu intens yang berasal dengan motif tim BtoB dengan energi intens mereka. 'Monday to Sunday' secara bersama-sama disusun oleh komposer global Jörgen Elofsson[1] Edisi spesial dari album yang berjudul "Born To Beat (Asia Special Edition)" dirilis pada 23 Mei 2012, dengan tambahan 2 lagu, yaitu "Irrestisible Lips" dan dari singel sebelumnya yang berjudul "Father".[2]

Latar Belakang dan Rilis

Pada Maret 2012, mereka menggelar Premium Launching Show dengan 2 judul track, "Imagine" (a ballad track) and "Insane" (a dance track). Lagu debut BtoB sebagai pemula adalah komposisi gelar ganda yang luar biasa yang direpresentasikan sebagai cerita terhubung genre yang berbeda yang menampilkan pesona masing-masing mereka sendiri yang menunjukkan strategi BtoB dalam menghadirkan berbagai kemampuan musik mereka sepenuhnya.[3]

Track pertama yang berjudul “Insane”, telah diproduksi oleh Seo Jae Woo, yang juga menyusun lagu untuk artis Cube lain seperti 4Minute dan Beast. Lagu ini memiliki melodi spektakuler yang mulus menggabungkan anggota vokal kuat dan rap.[4]

“Imagine”, track kedua, adalah lagu dari nuansa yang sama sekali berbeda karena merupakan balada yang menampilkan, kemampuan vokal halus tulus kelompok.[4]

Pada 20 Maret 2012, teaser "Insane" dirilis lewat saluran YouTube mereka dan video musiknya dirilis pada 21 Maret 2012 di saluran yang sama.[5] Dihari yang sama, mereka merilis singel kedua yang berjudul "Imagine" setelah merilis singel "Insane" dan pada 22 Maret 2012, mereka menampilkan penampilan debut mereka di M! Countdown.

Pada 23 Mei 2012, edisi spesial dari album yang berjudul "Born To Beat (Asia Special Edition)" telah dirilis dengan tambahan dua lagu, yaitu "Irresistible Lips" dan dari singel sebelumnya yang berjudul "Father". Dihari yang sama, viceo musik "Irresistible Lips" dirilis.[2]

Promosi

Mereka mempromosikan album ini pertama kali di acara musik Mnet M! Countdown. Lalu diikuti dengan acara musik lain seperti Music Bank, Inkigayo dan Music Core.
