In the Middle of Nowhere on Modern Talkingin albumi vuodelta 1986. Albumi nousi listaykköseksi Saksassa,[1] sekä nousi kymmenen parhaan joukkoon muissakin Euroopan maissa.
Albumi sisältää perinteisten rakkauslaulujen ohella fantasiaa (Riding on a White Swan ja Stranded in the Middle of Nowhere), mutta tällä kertaa myös kolme itämaista vaikutteita ottanutta kappaletta peräjälkeen, eli The Thousand Lonely Drums, Lonely Tears in Chinatown ja In Shaire.
