Howard Bloom (s. 25. kesäkuuta 1943 Buffalo, New York) on yhdysvaltalainen kirjailija ja tieteellinen ajattelija. Hän toimi 1970- ja 1980-luvuilla laulajien ja yhtyeiden kuten Princen[1], Billy Joelin[2] ja Styxin[3] PR-henkilönä. Vuonna 1988 hän invalidisoitui sairastuttuaan krooniseen väsymysoireyhtymään[4]. Sen jälkeen hän on julkaissut kolme kirjaa ihmisen evoluutiosta ja ryhmäkäyttäytymisestä: The Genius of the Beast, The Global Brain ja The Lucifer Principle.
