Unmasked Kiss hard rock talde amerikarraren estudioko 8. albuma da, 1980an argitaratua. Garaian, jatorrizko taldekide guztiek (Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley, eta Peter Criss) grabatzen zuten azkenengo albuma izan zen, nahiz eta Crissek ez zuen albumaren grabazioan parte hartu. Anton Figek (kreditatu gabea) bateria guztiak jo zituen albumean. Unmasked albumak taldearen musika estiloan aldaketa handia suposatu zuen arren, 35. postua lortu zuen US Billboard zerrendan[7] eta Urre motakoa izendatu zuen RIAAk 1980ko uztailaren 30ean.[8]

Taldeak musika bideo bat grabatu zuen "Shandi" abestiarentzat, Criss zegoelarik. Criss Kissekin edozein egoeratan agertzen den azken aldia izan zen, 1995eko ekainaren 17an Kiss Convention batean taldearekin abestu zuen arte. Taldearen biografia autorizatuan, berak esan zuen grabazioaren ondoren taldearen aldagela uzten azkena izan zela, eta negar egiten hasi zela.[6]

Telebista alemaneko saio batean "Talk to Me" eta "She's So European" abestietan playback egin zuten agerpen batek Eric Carren debuta suposatu zuen, taldearen bateria bihurtuko zena bere heriotzara arte, 1991n. Taldeak gaur egun eraitsia dagoen New Yorkeko Palladium Theatre antzokian kontzertu bat emango zuen Carr Crissen ordezko moduan aurkezpen ofiziala egiteko.

Urteetan zehar, albumeko abestiak oso baztertuak izan dira zuzeneko emanaldietan .
