Yangqu Dam
Dam in Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province
35°42′4″N 100°16′8″E / 35.70111°N 100.26889°E / 35.70111; 100.26889The Yanqu Dam is a concrete-face rock-fill dam on the Yellow River in Xinghai County, Qinghai Province, China.[1] Construction on the dam began in 2010 and its 1,200 MW hydroelectric power station became operational in 2016. It is located upstream of the Longyangxia Dam.[2]
