Tony Spears (fourth 1⁄4 1965[2]) is an English former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s. He played at club level for Castleford, as a wing.[1][3][4][5]

Tony Spears played on the wing in Castleford's 18-22 defeat by Hull Kingston Rovers in the 1985 Yorkshire Cup Final during the 1985–86 season at Headingley, Leeds, on Sunday 27 October 1985.[citation needed]

Tony Spears is the younger brother of Sandra Spears (birth registered during third 1⁄4 1959 (age 64–65) in Pontefract district), and David Spears (birth registered during fourth 1⁄4 1962 (age 61–62) in Pontefract district).
