51°46′N 18°17′E / 51.767°N 18.283°E / 51.767; 18.283Sierzchów [ˈɕɛʂxuf] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Opatówek, within Kalisz County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north-east of Opatówek, 15 km (9 mi) east of Kalisz, and 117 km (73 mi) south-east of the regional capital Poznań. According to data from April 21, 2004, the village had 473 inhabitants.
History
From 1975 to 1998, the locality was situated in the Kalisz Voivodeship.[2]
