Messaoud Redouane Dris (Arabic: مسعود رضوان دريس; born 13 September 2001) is an Algerian judoka. He is currently ranked fourteenth in the lightweight division.[1]
Career
Dris started his career with CS Ouled El-Bahia in Oran, Algeria. In January 2023, he joined Paris Saint-Germain.[2]
Dris became the African Champion in 2022 and won a gold medal at the 2022 Mediterranean Games.[3][4] He took part in World Judo Championships on 2022 and 2023.
He was dropped from the 2024 Paris Olympics judo competition after failing the weight on the day before he was scheduled to face Israeli judoka Tohar Butbul.[5][6]
