Note
- ^ Certain award groups do not simply award one winner. They recognize several different recipients, have runners-up, and have third place. Since this is a specific recognition and is different from losing an award, runner-up mentions are considered wins in this award tally. For simplification and to avoid errors, each award in this list has been presumed to have had a prior nomination.
The following is a list of awards and nominations received by acclaimed American actress and producer Reese Witherspoon. She rose to international fame for portraying Elle Woods in Legally Blonde. Among her numerous accolades, Witherspoon has won an Academy Award, BAFTA Award,[1] and Golden Globe Award for her performance in Walk the Line.[2] As a producer, Witherspoon won a Primetime Emmy Award and received Golden Globe award nominations for the television series Big Little Lies. She also received many Primetime Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG award nominations for her critically praised role on the Apple TV series The Morning Show.
