Arsanjan (Persian: ارسنجان)[a] is a city in the Central District of Arsanjan County, Fars province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district. It is at an altitude of 1,638 metres (5,374 ft).[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 17,642 in 4,397 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 17,382 people in 4,674 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 17,706 people in 5,284 households.[2]
