Arroes
Arroes (variant: Santa María de Arroes ) is one of 41 parishes (administrative divisions) in Villaviciosa, a municipality within the province and autonomous community of Asturias, in northern Spain.
Situated at 100 m (330 ft) above sea level, the parroquia has a population of 422.[1]
On September 4, 2023, the jury of the Princess of Asturias Awards granted Arroes, along with Pion and Candanal, the Exemplary Town of Asturias Award.[2]
